MOO! events: L'Occitane

it's been too long in between post and shoots so a post on MOO! is long over due.

what have we been up to? the last shoot the MOO! crew was together we were invited to cover the opening event of L'Occitane with woman & home magazine for the launch of their new range fleur cherie.

the event was a private party for selected readers of woman & home magazine where they enjoyed sampling the new range by the experienced team of L'Occitane accompanied with champers and nibblies.

in between video interviews and hand messagers the MOO! crew covered an entertaining night.

thank you for letting us be part of this launch and if you haven't tried L'Occitane before rush out and get your hands on the wonderfully soft hand cream! that's my favourite especially the cherry blossom range which smells extra sweet.

MOO! style

i have a passion for fashion! so since our first edition of MOO! friends there has been alot of people asking me: 'what is jen wearing?' and 'who stylised the shoot?'

so i thought i'll put together a little snippet of jen's shoot: the look: the style: the outfit

jen's look was stylised together with jen herself being such a fashion diva herself, co-assistant lynda tran and myself.

everytime i do a shoot i make sure i know my setting, know what i want to take a photo of and how all the pretty colours will come together and make sure nothing clashes and of course to make sure my subject is going to turn out super good!

G&V in the yellow fields teasers

i've been so excited about posting this up since thao (the unofficial wedding planner) called me up and asked if i was interested in doing an engagement shoot for her dear friends garry & van.

i jumped at the opportunity and met G&V in le pain over dinner in notting hill and pondered over what kind of shoot we would do. over a full stomach, coffee and 3 hours later we still could not decide what kind of shoot we should do so we decided to sleep on it.

after a few good nights rest and lots of blog reading G&V were inspired to do a yellow fields shoot and i couldn't have been happier! they also wanted to stylise it and with some wonderful vintage finds that thao had in her house we gather our props and headed for the hills!

the sun was out in full force but the clouds were rolling in and we couldn't find any rapeseed yellow fields anywhere! but luckily we stumbled on a field of yellow flowers which we later found out that they were actually cow fields used for feeding.

by the end of the day we finally found our yellow fields of rapeseed on the way home and ducked out to take some photos before the rain came down.

do enjoy these! it was such a fun and great day! G&V made me laugh so much during the shoot!! and thanks so much for making these look so pretty!! :)
